ALS Arizona Day of Research: Advancing Science, Bringing Hope

ALS Arizona recently partnered with Target ALS to bring groundbreaking research directly to our community. In a unique pop-up research clinic set up in our courtyard, people living with ALS, as well as those with a personal connection to the disease, had the opportunity to contribute to scientific progress by donating blood and saliva samples.

These samples are critical to Target ALS’s mission of breaking down barriers to ALS research and accelerating the discovery of effective treatments. By uniting researchers, biotech and pharma companies, government agencies, nonprofits, and the ALS community, Target ALS is creating a collaborative path toward breakthroughs that will bring hope to those affected by this devastating disease.

In addition to the research clinic, attendees enjoyed a research presentation by Dr. Bowser (Video Link), a “Make Your Own Trucker Hat” bar, and delicious drinks from the Chickie’s Coffee cart. It was a wonderful day filled with collaboration, community, and meaningful contributions to ALS research.
